Voting Question: I don't know my biological father....:{(?

...my mom had me at 18 and didnt involve him in my life becuz his parents abused him and he was a little "troubled" i guess...my mom gave me some letters and a poem that he gave my mom along time ago...and come to find out my bio-grandad's adress is on the bottom of the memo paper...and i checked yellowpages, looks like he still lives there!...BIG DILEMMA...the one person that i can go to to get a hold of my real dad is the same person he has the worse relationship w/..the father that abused him..i dont know if i should go see what happens or not, but i live in pomona,ca and he lives in upland, the next city over!...i just dunno, :{/...please help! i kno not to expect too much, but something's better than nothing!, im 19 yrs old and can fend for myself, my mom cant really help out, shes got problems of her own right now!...
